Savage dog who attacked three other pets may get 'life sentence' in a sanctuary

Magistrates are considering whether to send a dog to a canine sanctuary for the rest of its life after it savaged three other pets.
The large Alaskan Malamute has escaped from its owner's home in Syston twice, almost killing one dog and seriously injuring another.
It was seized by Charnwood Borough Council last October, and placed in kennels, where it attacked a third.
Owner Stacie Beeby (35) was served with a community protection notice after the first attack
